Started in 1891 in the state of Colorado, this cogwheel train has been one of the most famous yet. It takes the passengers at the top of 14,115 ft high Pikes Peak. The ride is of 9 miles that takes much of a 3 hours to reach the top and will offer you an amazing view of the rockies all around. The train is like the most cogwheel trains in terms of no washrooms but is wheelchair accessible. They open in every spring.
