This is the first cogwheel train of the World which actually takes you to the top of Mt.washington. The man behind this idea was Mr Sylvester Marsh who almost got lost while taking a journey to the Mt.Washington and thought of a much better way to reach there. The idea came to realisation in 1896 and was discontinued in 1929 due to an accident. It is now opened again for people to visit in late march to november and enjoy those breathtaking views.
