Jim Corbett National Park is one of the most famous National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries in India. This park was established in 1939 as a measure to protect the Royal Bengal Tiger. It is considered as the oldest National Park in India. They offer jeep and elephant Safaris to the visitors through the forest area. Fishing, rock-climbing, river-crossing, rappelling, slithering and rafting are some other activity sports offered to the visitors. The park has more than 25 species of reptiles, 585 kinds of birds and over 50 varieties of mammal species and an equal level of fauna too.
