Also known as Tso Pema Lotus lake, the Rewalsar lake. As per the legend, it was from this small town of Rewalsar that Guru Padmasambhava flew to Tibet and spread Mahayana Buddhism in Tibet. The lake is famous among all the buddhist monks and several visit during the year. The lake is supposed to have some links with the China through a long tunnel. The lake is surrounded by variety of market places and other cultural restaurants adding to its beauty.
