Founded on the vision of Padmashree Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, the Institute of Management, Nirma University, earlier known as Nirma Institute of Management came into existence in 1996. The institute provides a 2 year MBA program with an executive MBA option for the working professionals. The two-year full-time residential programme, follows trimester system. The first year consists of core courses.
The second year consists of a few core courses and several elective courses. A summer project is scheduled at the end of the first year. The programme offers dual specializations (major and minor) in the second year. Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Human Resources Management, International Business, Operations Management, Strategic Management.
